Terese grew up on the southside of Chicago, IL (within the actual city limits) as an only child. She attended Catholic grammar schools (St. Ethelreda & St. Denis) and high school (Mother McAuley). Upon graduation from Illinois Institute of Technology with a degree in Chemical Engineering, she moved to Racine, WI and started her 36 career with S.C. Johnson, retiring in 2020. While in Racine, she belonged to Sacred Heart and St. Rita parishes. Terese and her husband Steve moved to Tichigan in 2018. Between them, they have 6 children and 3 grandchildren. They are dog lovers, but at the moment are enjoying being just dog sitters when needed.
In her free time Terese likes to take dance lessons with her husband, participate in Bible studies, follow Big East college basketball, read, and spend time with the grandchildren.
“I knew from the first mass and bible study class I attended in Fall 2018 that St. Leonard was my new parish home," said Terese. She continued, "I started helping in the Christian Formation Office and now I am very grateful to be assisting in the Parish Office. I especially enjoy getting to know more of the parishioners.”
