Deacon Larry, ordained in early fall 2018, preaches at Mass regularly and perform baptisms. He also teaches in the religious education and Confirmation programs and visits area nursing homes about once a month.

What does Deacon Larry enjoy about St. Leonard? "It is the people of the parish. Everyone that I have met in the parish has been nothing but kind and supportive. One special moment for me and my family was my welcoming Mass after I ordained. I was given several rounds of applause by the parish members and it will truly be something that I will never forget."

Deacon Larry grew up in Covington, Kentucky and moved to Wisconsin in 2000. He was a member of St. John Vianney in Brookfield, where he went through the RCIA program. Deacon Larry received his bachelor's degree in elementary education from Lakeland University in Sheboygan in 2007.

Deacon Larry and his wife, Marejo, were married in 2001 and moved to Muskego about a year later. They have 3 children. Nate, TJ, and Luke, who attended or are graduates of St. Leonard School. Deacon Larry loves sports and follows the Kentucky Wildcats, Cleveland Indians, and Dallas Cowboys. He loves to golf and recently started to coach youth basketball which he totally enjoys.
