Philosophy of teaching
As the Reading Interventionist, I support classroom educators in meeting the needs of their students in English Language Arts (ELA). National, state, and local ELA standards provide the framework to ensure students reach grade level benchmarks. I supplement classroom instruction by providing additional opportunities to differentiate and individualize instruction to maximize student growth.
I enjoy working at St. Leonard because of the dynamic learning environment and our exceptional faith-based community. Our staff collaborates and supports one another in meeting the needs of all our students.
Hobbies and interests
I grew up in Muskego and I am an alumni of St. Leonard School as well as a parish member. I am blessed to have a close-knit family that lives nearby. We are huge Packer fans and love to cheer them on every Sunday. I am frequently on the go and love being busy with family activities. My dog, Fergus, is always bringing new adventures into our lives. I enjoy the outdoors whether it's hiking, gardening or reading in the sunshine.
