Youth Faith Formation
(Grades 7th - 11th)
Mission Statement...
“Called by Christ to become more than we are today, we strive to turn faith into a lived reality, and potential into a lifestyle of discipleship. Through prayer, critical thinking, and community, we cultivate the courage to grow, the wisdom to lead, and the humility to serve. Together, we seek to rise above mediocrity and make Christ’s love visible in the world.”
Grades 7 & 8...
We currently offer Alpha for 7th & 8th Grades every other year. In the opposite year, we will be using a popular youth study, known as The Chosen video series. The Chosen is a television drama based on the life of Jesus of Nazareth, created, directed and co-written by American filmmaker Dallas Jenkins. The Chosen allows youth to witness the humanity of Jesus and those surrounding Him, ultimately helping students realize and relate to the figure and friendship of Jesus Christ.
Grade 9...
The first semester we use the video series YOU—Life, Love and the Theology of the Body. In the second semester, we help students facilitate, apply, and hone moral decision making; students ultimately realize that Catholic living leads to a genuinely joyful, meaningful existence that we as humans always strive to obtain.
Confirmation Preparation: Grades 10 & 11...
In our two-year program that prepares youth for Confirmation, Confirmands embark on an intentional journey of the Catholic Faith that not only builds on students' foundation from previous years, but requires skills of critical thinking and independent discernment that allows Confirmands to say a confident and resounding "YES!" at their Confirmation Mass.
Students select 8 out of 10 elective classes- Being Catholic, Church History, Confirmation, Liturgy, Mary & the Saints, New Testament, Old Testament, Apologetics, Prayer, Sacraments and Stewardship. Other preparations include attending a retreat each year, performing service, participating in enrichment events, etc. Please see the Handbook for more details.

Family Enrichment Events...
Family Enrichment Events are designed to incorporate the entire family - the foundation of the Catholic Church! So important, that the Catholic Church has coined a term for families, known as "The Domestic Church." We hope these events help each member of the family grow in faith, and see the face of Christ in their familial roles and in one another.
Depending on grade, there may be requirements for attending Family Enrichment Events ...
