Samantha (Sam) joined our staff in 2023. She communicates news and information for the parish and school, and helps get the word out about our community to the surrounding area.
Sam grew up in Racine, WI with her parents and two older brothers. In 2018 she graduated from Marquette University with a B.A. in Advertising. Shortly after that she started the Echo Faith Formation Leadership Program at the University of Notre Dame, which included earning an M.A. in Theology and an apprenticeship. She was assigned to the Diocese of St. Petersburg, FL, where she served Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon. Sam stayed in the Diocese for an additional two years after completing the Echo program to be the Director of Faith Formation at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on St. Pete Beach.
"I met some amazing people, learned a lot and had a ton of fun. It was cool to be able to go to the beach in February and drive to Disney World on a whim, but ultimately I wanted to be close to my family and return to my roots," said Sam, "I'm excited to have the opportunity to continue serving the Church in a role that combines my interests and brings me closer to home."
In her free time Sam likes to paint, play tennis and try new recipes in the kitchen!
