Educating St. Leonard children since 2022

Education:

• Teaching Certificate - Grades 1-8, Math Emphasis - Carroll University, Waukesha

Welcome to 3rd grade at St. Leonard. I believe all students have the ability to learn and grow in a nurturing, loving, and safe environment. I see my job as a teacher to create that environment and act as a guide and role model to help each child discover how they learn best and to create lifelong learners. I am a big believer in fostering a community in my classroom where all students feel included and respected. I also feel a classroom should be a fun place where students feel engaged in real-word, hands-on activities as much as possible. I am excited to partner with parents in their child's education to become who God has intended them to be.

I enjoy the family like, welcoming atmosphere here at St. Leonard. Everyone is willing to answer my many questions with a smile and offer to help me if needed.

I grew up in Pewaukee. My husband and I attend Holy Apostles parish in New Berlin. We are a blended family with four adult children and two grandchildren. We are getting close to being empty nesters.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors with my family; boating, fishing, walking, and gardening. I love reading snuggled up to my cat, Jeff. My husband Chris and I love going out to dinner and try to recreate dishes we enjoy at home.
