Teara shares that the goal of the School Counseling Program is to give all students opportunities to learn the appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitudes it takes for them to reach their fullest potential. The program consists of comprehensive counseling and guidance services that address academic achievement, social and emotional growth, and college and career readiness.
Teara, who attended grade school at St. John the Evangelist, received her undergraduate degree from Ripon College, where she doubled majored in Psychology and Education. She received her master's degree in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
"What I enjoy the most about working at St. Leonard is the sense of community. It is evident that each staff member is dedicated to the success of each student," she said.
In her free time, Teara loves spending time up north with family and friends. She also enjoys watching game shows and loves the Green Bay Packers!
