Philosophy of Teaching: Welcome to Fourth Grade Camp Discovery. Children learn best when they can experience the world around them. In fourth grade, students will have many opportunities to discover in a classroom setting of innovative and creative methods of interactive learning. My hope is that children develop a desire to learn as they build life skills to be independent and responsible citizens. I will do my best each
day to give your child relevant knowledge, the courage to try new things, the curiosity to seek new answers, and the ability to be the best they can be In all areas of their lives – academically, spiritually, emotionally, socially and physically. I believe that each child will succeed with respect, responsibility, perseverance and effort. Effective learning requires collaboration between parent, teacher and child grounded in mutual respect and trust. We will reach for the stars as we journey on the path of discovery together.

Hobbies and Interests: I love spending time with my family. We enjoy tent camping, hiking, visiting museums, and traveling. We are also part of (and I am director of) Slovak Catholic Sokol and Sokol Milwaukee: organizations that provide us friendships internationally while participating in gymnastics, track, dance, and other sports.
