Volunteer parishioners hold a 20-minute Communion Service every Sunday for residents at four Muskego facilities - Tudor Oaks, Muskego Nursing Home, Caring Alternatives and Heritage.
Individuals may bring communion to sick family members or others on an occasional basis as needed. There are pyxes (special containers for the Eucharist) in the front foyer of church. To do this ministry, take a pyx before Mass. After communion, the priest will ask persons to come forward who are bringing the Eucharist to shut-ins. Come forward to the priest. Receive a host (or several) from him. Wait until all have received hosts. The priest blesses you. Return to your pew.
