Bridget, who came to St. Leonard in 2011, has a wide range of responsibilities. She assists Father Dan with the pastoral care of the parish including visiting the sick and home bound, funeral planning and grief support. Bridget also coordinate adult formation including bible studies, adult Confirmation, Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) for those not Catholic and marriage preparation. She also support parish ministries and outreach to those in need especially through Human Concerns.

"The St Leonard parish community demonstrates a vibrant and welcoming spirit and I have felt blessed to be a part of and minister to those in the parish and their families. I enjoy the opportunities I have to help people grow in their faith and become modern-day disciples of Jesus."

Bridget worked in healthcare for over 30 years, primarily for Catholic organizations, and in 2008 left to work in parish ministry. She has graduate degrees in education and in lay ministry.

Bridget grew up on a farm in Racine County as a member of St. Mary Parish in Dover (Kansasville). She married Kurt in 1985 at St Mary's, and they have lived in rural Kenosha County on the edge of Bong State Recreation Area since then in a renovated farmhouse. For fun, Bridget enjoy working outside in the yard, doing genealogy, cryptograms, crocheting, cross-stitch and cruising\traveling. She and Kurt share their home with two adopted cats named Squeakers and Boxley (AKA "the boys").
