Growing With God...A Capital Campaign for St. Leonard
We are off to a strong start in preparing for our upcoming capital campaign! We continue to get second and third price quotes for our projects, our core team has recruited more than 40 volunteers, and we finalized our campaign prayer, logo and theme: Growing with God.
Alongside the great progress we are making in preparation for this landmark effort, it is equally important to share that we have learned from our last campaign.
In Growing with God, parish leadership has established a transparent campaign structure and a governing policy that mandates every dollar raised will fund the needs of this campaign in the stated order of priority. For example, the first $400,000 raised will pay for the new school roof because that is the first priority. Project “buckets” will continue to be filled in order as the money is raised.
Throughout the campaign, we will focus on communicating our progress via the bulletin, announcements at Mass, FAQ pieces and social media. Transparency through concise communication will remain a focal point. We want everyone to feel informed and confident before making an investment in our parish.
We will all be asked to prayerfully consider how we might support Growing with God.
